A Smithfield Home transformed just in time for the holidays.

The holiday season is just around the corner, and you know what that means – it's time to make your home feel as cozy and stylish as a cup of hot cocoa by the fire. But there's one element that often gets overlooked in the decorating frenzy – your window coverings.

Here's a reminder of where we started... remember it's not how you start but how you finish (-hint, you've got to start first though).

The results are in, drumroll, please.....

Alright, now let's dive into the transformation that happened at Smithfield, Virginia. Picture a charming home with windows that were just waiting for a little something extra. Well, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.

Custom Drapery Panels in Linen: First up, we added some custom drapery panels that took this place to a whole new level of elegance. They came in a chic two-tone colorway - cream on the top, and a subtle beige on the bottom. The result? Pure sophistication. But what really takes the cake is our choice of acrylic drapery rods. They make the drapery appear as if it's floating in the air – a mesmerizing effect that's sure to catch everyone's eye. Oh, and those end brackets? Satin nickel, of course, to match the room's finish. It's the little details that count.

Have you ever experienced custom window coverings in your home?

  • Yes, I love them. They make a huge difference.

  • No, but one day I will.

  • No, I didn't know custom window coverings were even a thing.

Motorized Zebra Shades: Now, let's talk convenience. We installed motorized zebra shades that you can control with a simple remote. Yep, you heard that right – just press a button, and watch as these shades effortlessly open or close. No more fumbling with cords or struggling to find that sweet spot for the perfect amount of sunlight. It's all about ease and style here.

Custom Rugs with a Speckled Abstract Look: The custom rugs we provided for this project are nothing short of spectacular. They feature a speckled abstract design with hints of gray, cream, whites, and blacks. These rugs add an extra layer of dimension to the room's overall shape and design, giving it a unique and contemporary feel. Trust us; you won't want to step away from these!

Luxurious Velvet Pillows: Our commitment to comfort and style doesn't stop at window coverings. We also adorned the leather sofas with custom velvet pillows that are as plush as they are eye-catching. These pillows boast feather-down inserts that keep them in place without any annoying sliding. The velvet fabric we chose is a cut and raised velvet, providing both visual and tactile texture, adding a touch of luxury to the room.
